Eames Postcards

The brief for this project called for a series of postcards to answer questions posed by Charles and Ray Eames in their short film, "Design Q & A." I wanted a solution that would acknowledge both the content of the questions and the medium, so I chose to use the artwork from regular ol' postage stamps. For each question & answer combination, I found a stamp to complement the message. I then utilized the artwork from that stamp on the front of the postcard and also used the stamp itself to mail the postcard. My hope was to give the recipient a fun little jolt of recognition when they see the connection between the design and the stamp.
